On Jan 12, 2010 a magnitude 7 earthquake hit the island nation of Haiti. The earthquake has devastated the island. Many buildings have collapsed trapping residents inside. The islands infrastructure is practically destroyed.
As many as 3 million people have been affected. And they need our help.
Ocean Drive Run in partnership with World Vision's Operation Hope for Haiti, will be donating race proceeds to Haiti earthquake relief. Operation Hope for Haiti's mission is to connect the community of South Florida to provide life saving relief supplies and support sustained, structured recovery efforts to help Haitian children and families devastated by the earthquake. As Haiti's closest American neighbor, we must demonstrate leadership in providing long term, targeted support and help keep Haiti on radar the screen for years to come. Please help us help those affected by this catastrophe.
